We are excited to share a special opportunity for our community, thanks to our friends at Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney.
This year, Ronald McDonald House Charities ACT & SE NSW is bringing together a team to join Walk Me Home, an incredible 25km coastal walk that raises vital funds to support sick and injured children and their families. Even better, all donations raised by Team RMHC ACT will directly support families staying with us here in Canberra and across South East NSW.
You can join or donate to our team & also learn more about the event here: https://www.walkmehome.org.au/fundraisers/rmhcact
If you are interested in joining Team RMHC ACT, you can sign up via the link above or reach out to our team at [email protected].

We try to accommodate the needs of all families where we can, including those that live locally but this is always subject to availability. Priority is given to families, those whose children have been recently diagnosed, have a serious or life threatening illness, are seriously injured or who require emergency treatment, as well as families of premature babies.
Families staying at Ronald McDonald House Canberra Hospital have access to a range of facilities and programs to help make each day a little easier.
Our House is located within the Hospital, meaning families staying are never far from their child’s ward bed.
Facilities include, play spaces, balcony area, quiet room, family lounge, laundry, and a communal kitchen and dining area.
So, whether you’ll be staying with us for just a couple of nights or have many months ahead of you, our team will endeavour to make you feel welcome and supported.
RMHC ACT & SE NSW staff and volunteers are here to lend a helping hand before, during and after your stay.
